Harini Radhakrishnan Kesari Clinic, originally Kesari Kuteeram, was founded by Dr. K. N. Kesari in 1900. Known as the “abode of the lion,” this clinic started humbly. It served the poor with trusted medicines like Lodhra and Amrita.

Initially operating from a small office in Madras, the clinic moved to Egmore in 1917. By 1937, it settled on West Cott Road, Royapettah, Chennai. The manufacturing unit relocated to Injambakkam, Chennai, in 1989. Kesari Kuteeram became a private limited company in 1941.
